Building Strength and Mobility: Pediatric Physiotherapy
The goal of our pediatric physiotherapy program is to support infants and toddlers in gaining gross motor skills, core strength, balance, and coordination necessary for independent physical activity and play.
Specialized physical therapists working in our state-of-the-art health care facility will assess your child's unique motor patterns and design creative, play-oriented strategies to promote their development. This includes providing critical early intervention and focused child development services across Kerala to ensure that your child moves in a safe and confident manner, and participate fully in preschool education, playground, and daily family activities.
Main Areas of Focus:
Gross Motor Development
Assisting children in achieving critical gross motor development milestones such as rolling, crawling, walking, and jumping to advance their overall child development.
Core Strength and Endurance
Developing the base muscle strength required to enable a child to sit upright at the desk during preschool and childcare programs.
Balance and Coordination
Supporting a child in developing ways to move safely within their environment, essential for successful participation in inclusive education.
Body Alignment and Mobility
Supporting children with special needs in developing strategies for independent movement through addressing alignment.
Here’s how we do it:
Comprehensive Evaluation
We begin with standardized assessments and clinical observations to pinpoint your child's specific developmental strengths and challenges.
Customized Goal Setting
Working closely with parents, we develop an individualized intervention plan tailored to the child's learning pace and family goals.
Play-Based Intervention
Therapy sessions utilize structured play, specialized equipment, and engaging activities to motivate the child to build necessary skills.
Family Training
We provide parents with home programs and strategies to ensure the skills learned in the clinic transfer into the home and school environment.
