Our Journey
Our Journey
A vision of acceptance and growth
Open Arms began with a heartfelt vision inspired by a compassionate young mind. Aishath Laureen dreamed of creating a safe, supportive space where children on the autism spectrum could learn, grow, and feel truly understood. Her empathy and belief that every child deserves acceptance laid the foundation for what would later become Open Arms.
What started as an initiative focused on autism support gradually expanded as more families sought guidance for a wider range of developmental and emotional needs. Recognizing this growing demand, the centre evolved into a multidisciplinary space offering comprehensive child development and counselling services.
Today, Open Arms Child Development & Counselling Centre, a Private Limited institution, provides developmental assessments, behavioural therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, special education, and psychological counselling.
While our services have grown, our core philosophy remains unchanged: every child is unique, and with the right support, each child can thrive. We continue to work closely with families, educators, and professionals to create a nurturing environment where children feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
